Ongoing lawn service in York, ME and surrounding areas.
At York River Landscaping, we’ve been in the business for nine years providing the residential communities of York, ME and New Hampshire's Portsmouth and Rye, with professional mowing and maintenance services. Our top priority is pampering your lawn with more than just a cut. Our team is thorough and has an eye for detail.
Most home lawns can experience a variety of challenges throughout the year, such as drying-out in the summer, an accumulation of water in low spots during the spring after heavy rainfalls, and weed invasion along beds and borders. Having a prepared and ready mowing maintenance schedule can help keep a clean and finished appearance for your lawn.
Early spring (March-May) is the time to prepare for your lawn to start growing and the beginning of the mowing season. The summer months are at the heart of mowing season. During this time, we will mow at three inches, and will want you to provide your lawn with adequate water. The rule of thumb for summer is to water your lawn one inch per week. The end of mowing season is typically in October or November, when the last leaves have fallen. Throughout the year, you'll need between 18 and 30 mowing sessions.
As you can guess, there’s a whole lot of work involved in maintaining a lawn throughout the year. Here is what you can expect from each of our routine visits:
